HEADSHOTS: Lyric Soprano, Laura

I had the pleasure of working with an extremely talented young singer, lyric soprano – Laura Arthur. During our session together I got to know Laura a little bit. She is very sweet and generous. Her energy and her smile is quite infectious when she talks to you about her deep love for singing and performing. This year, Laura was awarded (for the 2nd time) the Marin Music Chest scholarship for $1,200.

Take a look at some of our final edits from our session together here & then read San Francisco Classical Voice’s most recent write up about her. You can also listen to an audio recording of her singing Carlisle Floyd’s “The Trees on the Mountains”. Click it, I promise you’ll be inspired!

I wish Laura all the best of luck in her future career – I predict that San Francisco audiences will be hearing and seeing a lot more of Laura’s lovely voice! Brava Laura!
