On the Street: Mission Dolores Park & Valencia

Last Friday I spent the afternoon with fashion diva & blogger Abigail out and about in the Mission checking out the locals and photographing them whenever possible. A few passers by in Dolores Park caught our eye. The first up, Michael and John. Both were wearing some flashy Cole Haan shoes. I couldn’t let them walk past us without an introduction and a couple of photos.

Here’s some close ups of the shoes! Michael, (on the left) was wearing LunarGrand Wingtip shoes. They have a vibrant shock of color on the soles and a simple, work appropriate color on top. To see the other colors they come in you can click on the link here: LunarGrand Wingtips . John’s shoes oozed a warm-sultry Merlot kind of red and warm brown. Currently, John’s shoes are no longer listed on the main website for Cole Haan BUT you can find them at Nordstrom’s online shop here: AirColton Saddle Oxford in Burgundy/Black.

Before leaving Dolores Park I snapped up a few poses with Abigail to show off her fresh ink — an ode to her family and her love of fashion.

Look at those heels — yowza! You wouldn’t catch me in a pair like that. Props to Abigail for walking all over the park in these!

We took a break for lunch at Tartine and ran into Jas.  Her look was powerful & adorable all rolled into one: combat boots, hoop earrings, a vintage tee, and a winning smile. What could be better than that?

Of all the people we ran into that day, Jas had a really positive, bright energy about her that really came through in her photos.

As we turned the corner onto Valencia, we discovered Courtney, a young designer and artist. Her look was SO UNIQUE that Abigail and I were stopped in our tracks. Courtney’s look was so intriguing! I couldn’t help but think of her as Alice in Wonderland, but grown up and living in SF. Ha!

As we were leaving the Mission, happy to have found as many looks as we did we saw Brandon. As our last look for this post, I give you Brandon in all of his glory. He could easily pass for a native Italian stepping off a train in Milan or Florence. Loved his attitude & his look!

It was certainly an exciting Friday, and one I soon hope to repeat – stay tuned for more fashion posts!
